Claude for business: a 2026 guide for EU teams

A finance director once told us the company paid for fifteen Claude licences while three people opened Claude in a normal week. The same split turns up when a rollout starts with a login email to every inbox and no plan after it.
Claude for business means two plans, Team and Enterprise, which put the same Claude models under accounts your company owns, an admin console and Anthropic's commercial terms.1 The companies that get their money back pick the plan that fits, start with one department and measure a task before and after four weeks.
Why pick Claude for business in 2026?
Claude Team gives a company what personal Pro accounts never do: accounts the company owns, central billing, usage analytics and admin controls over which outside tools Claude may reach.1 Single sign-on is included as well, meaning staff log in with the company account they already use, so a leaver loses Claude the day that account closes.
Anthropic has offices in Dublin, London and Zurich and announced Paris and Munich in November 2025, citing run-rate revenue in Europe, the Middle East and Africa up more than ninefold.2 Our guide to Claude in Europe covers what that presence changes for a European buyer.
Five ways European companies use Claude today
Each case below is a customer story that Anthropic published, with the company's own numbers and the part a person still does by hand.
Claude for customer service at bunq
bunq, a European app-only bank with 20 million users, runs Finn, the banking assistant that answers its customers, on Claude models.3 The share of support tickets resolved without a person rose by 8 per cent to more than 80 per cent, by bunq's own count.3 Roughly one ticket in five still reaches a member of staff, so plan for fewer people on the queue, not none.
Claude for compliance documents at Pictet
Pictet, the Swiss private bank, has given Claude to around 700 people since the rollout began in its technology division of 1,500 staff.4 A compliance gap analysis that the bank had planned as two weeks of work for a three-person team was finished within hours.4 Every gap the analysis flags still belongs to a compliance officer, who decides which ones change a policy.
Claude Code for development teams at Doctolib
Doctolib, the healthcare platform used by 90 million patients, has about 900 tech and product staff, and about 90 per cent use Claude daily.5 Its engineers work in Claude Code, meaning Anthropic's assistant that reads your code, writes the change and runs the tests. Engineers spent 40 to 45 per cent of their time writing code before AI and now spend roughly 20 per cent, by Doctolib's own estimate.5 Only half the bug fixes Claude Code proposes on its own get merged by the owning team, so a person still decides.5
Claude for marketing reports at Supermetrics
Supermetrics, a European marketing data company, connected its data to Claude, which Layer, a Norwegian agency, then used for client reports.6 A report that pulled from five sources took Layer 10 hours by hand and now takes 20 minutes, 17 of which go to pasting the finished data into the client's Google Sheet.6 Layer still spent several weeks checking the output against live campaign data before relying on it.
Claude for finance admin at Qonto
Qonto, the bookkeeping and business account platform for more than 600,000 small businesses, built Claude agents, meaning programs that prepare a task and wait for approval, into its app.7 A business owner who used to make 15 to 20 transfers for the monthly pay slips now approves one bulk transfer, and Qonto reports payroll runs five times quicker.7 Every transfer and invoice still waits for the customer's approval before anything is sent, a rule Qonto applies to every action with a financial impact.7
Claude Team vs Enterprise: which plan fits?
Claude Team fits a company with 2 to 150 users, and Enterprise earns its place only when a contract or your data protection officer asks for something Team lacks.1 Euro figures in the table use the European Central Bank rate of 25 September 2026.
| Claude Team | Claude Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Price per user a month | Standard $20 annual or $25 monthly (about €18 or €22), Premium $100 or $125 (about €88 or €110) | $20 per seat billed annually (about €18) plus all usage at API rates, from 20 seats |
| Single sign-on | Included | Included |
| SCIM, audit logs, custom retention | Not included | Included |
| Payment | Company card | Card, or an invoice with payment terms through Anthropic sales |
API rates, meaning the pay-per-use prices developers see, turn Enterprise into a bill that follows your volume, so log two months of usage on Team before you ask Anthropic for a quote.
Five people testing for a quarter: put them on Team with Standard seats on monthly billing, five times about €22 or roughly €110 a month, rather than on Pro accounts at about €18 each. Pro comes with no Data Processing Addendum, the processor contract Article 28 of the GDPR asks for, so the extra €4 a seat buys that paperwork.89
Fifteen to fifty people in daily use: Team covers them, with Premium seats only for the heaviest users. Twenty people with three Premium seats pay 17 × $20 plus 3 × $100 a month when billed annually, $640 or about €561. Putting all twenty on Premium would cost about €1,754 a month, which is why Premium goes only to named people.
Regulated sectors or a strict auditor: a bank or insurer whose auditor wants audit logs, custom retention or SCIM, meaning accounts that open and close with your staff directory, needs Enterprise.1 Data that must be processed inside the European Union goes a different way, through the API on Amazon Bedrock, the route N26 uses in Europe.10
Seat sums for every team size from 2 to 150 people are in our Claude Team pricing guide. Teams that already work in ChatGPT can set its agent mode against Claude in what ChatGPT Work does for a business, with the price per seat side by side.
Budget and purchasing in euros
Anthropic lists Team in dollars before tax and charges it to a company card, with the tax set by the billing address on the account.111 A business registered for value added tax (VAT) adds its VAT number under Settings then Billing, behind the Update button next to the payment method.11 Changes apply only to future billing cycles and completed invoices cannot be changed, so enter the number before the first invoice runs.11
Through satori-claude your company pays one invoice in euros: €490 setup once, then €14 per user a month plus the licence at €22 for Standard or €110 for Premium, all excluding VAT. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are invoiced without Swedish VAT under the reverse charge. Customers in Sweden pay Swedish VAT.
Our guide to buying Claude licences for your business walks through the purchase step by step, while how much Claude costs lists every plan from Free to Enterprise.
Security and GDPR in four points
The GDPR walk-through with its eight checks lives in is Claude GDPR compliant, and the certificates and admin settings that a security review asks for are in our Claude Enterprise security guide.
- No training by default: Anthropic does not train its models on inputs or outputs from commercial products such as Claude for Work and the API, unless you report feedback or opt in.12
- Irish contract: customers in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom contract with Anthropic Ireland, Limited, which brings in the Standard Contractual Clauses through its Data Processing Addendum.913
- Storage outside the EU: Anthropic stores commercial data in the United States and may route traffic to select countries, Europe among them, while Claude Team has no setting that keeps processing in the EU.1415 Every prompt that holds personal data is therefore a transfer under Chapter V of the GDPR, Articles 44 to 49, which your record of processing has to show.8
- EU routes for API work: EU cross-region inference on Amazon Bedrock keeps each request inside six EU regions, from Frankfurt to Stockholm, when it is called from one of those six.16 The EU multi-region endpoint on Google Cloud does the same, and our Claude EU data residency guide compares the two routes.17
Is Claude worth the money?
A worked example for a team of ten, our own arithmetic, values time at €35 an hour, rounded up from Eurostat's 2025 EU average hourly labour cost of €34.90.18 Each person is assumed to save one hour a week, about four hours a month, a figure that sits well below the five cases above.
| Worked example, ten people | Per month | Year one |
|---|---|---|
| Time saved, 10 × 4 hours × €35 | €1,400 | €16,800 |
| Claude Team direct, 10 Standard seats at $20 billed annually | about €175 | about €2,105 |
| satori-claude, 10 × (€22 licence + €14 fee) | €360 | €4,320 plus €490 setup |
| satori-launch, 10 × €560 once | €5,600 |
Bought direct, the ten seats pay for themselves once the whole team saves five hours a month, which is half an hour per person. Through satori. the first year costs €10,410 with launch and setup included, which leaves the team €6,390 ahead on the time it saves. Year two costs €4,320, because the launch and setup fees fall away.
The sum holds only when people change how they work, because a seat nobody opens costs exactly as much as one used all day. Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks providers and deployers to take measures that support AI literacy among their staff, without naming any specific course.19 A two-hour Claude workshop that runs on your team's real tasks costs €280 per user from 8 users, excluding VAT.
How to start with Claude for business in three steps
Step 1: pick the Claude plan by headcount
Pick Claude Team Standard at about €18 per user a month billed annually, and add Premium at about €88 only for the two or three people who run Claude all day. Keep Enterprise for the day when a contract asks for audit logs or SCIM, and move work accounts off personal Pro plans.
Step 2: set up the Claude Team workspace
Create the workspace, switch on single sign-on, enter your VAT number and set up one shared project per department with the files it uses every week. One admin does this in an afternoon, or satori-launch does it for you with a two-hour webinar, a full-day workshop and up to five ready skills, meaning saved instructions Claude reuses. satori-launch costs €560 per user from 8 users, €4,480 at the minimum, excluding VAT.
Step 3: run a four-week Claude pilot
Pick one department and one task, write down the hours it takes today, run Claude on it for four weeks and measure again. Rolling out to everyone at once, before any numbers exist, is how a company ends up with fifteen seats and three users.
Where to get help with Claude
satori. rolls Claude out for European companies at fixed prices in euros, from the licences on satori-claude to a Claude consultant who runs the whole rollout. Book a free 30-minute call and bring your headcount and the one task that you would test first.
Write the one task your team repeats every week into a text file, in three lines: what the task is, how many people do it and how many hours it takes them. In twenty minutes you have the baseline your four-week pilot has to beat, and the number that tells you whether five Standard seats at about €22 each will pay back.

Frequently asked questions
Claude for business usually means Anthropic's two work plans, Team and Enterprise, which give a company its own accounts, an admin console and central billing on top of the same Claude models as the personal plans. Both run on Anthropic's Commercial Terms with a Data Processing Addendum, and by default Anthropic does not train on their inputs or outputs.
Choose Team for 2 to 150 users who pay by card, with single sign-on included and Standard and Premium seats mixed in one workspace. Move to Enterprise when a contract or your data protection officer asks for audit logs, custom data retention, invoicing with payment terms or SCIM, meaning user accounts that follow your staff directory, at $20 per seat a month on annual billing plus all usage at API rates.
Claude suits writing, analysis, code and document work in European companies, as long as the company buys a business plan rather than personal accounts. Customers in the European Economic Area contract with Anthropic Ireland, Limited, the Data Processing Addendum brings in the Standard Contractual Clauses, and data is stored in the United States, so record the transfer and decide what staff may paste in before the first login.
A Claude Team Standard seat costs $20 per user a month billed annually or $25 monthly, about €18 or €22, and a Premium seat $100 or $125, about €88 or €110, before VAT. Enterprise costs $20 per seat a month on annual billing plus usage at API rates. Through satori-claude the Standard licence costs €22 plus a €14 fee per user a month, invoiced in euros excluding VAT.
Single sign-on comes with every Team plan, together with central billing, usage analytics and admin controls for the connectors your staff switch on. SCIM provisioning and audit logs sit on Enterprise only, so a company that needs either of them for an audit should plan the move before its renewal date.
Setting up the workspace takes one admin an afternoon, while new habits take longer, so plan a four-week pilot on one task in one department and measure the hours before and after. satori-launch covers a webinar, a full-day workshop and up to five ready skills for €560 per user from 8 users, and it usually fits within a few weeks.
