Long context
Upload whole contracts, annual reports or project plans. Current models read up to 1M tokens in one go, roughly 555,000 words.
Careful with facts
Claude would rather say "I do not know" than make something up. You still check the facts that matter.
Projects remember
Save instructions, files and context in a project, and every chat inside it starts with them.
No training on your data
On Team and Enterprise plans, the commercial terms of Anthropic say it may not train models on customer content.

Rule of thumb
Sonnet for daily work. Quick answer: Haiku. Big decision: Opus.
Current line-up (September 2026): Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5 and Opus 5.5, with Fable 5.1 above them for the hardest reasoning work.
